As both a Certified Financial Planning® professional and an estate attorney, I am uniquely qualified to evaluate your assets and any wills, trusts or other estate documents to make sure that your financial plan is not in conflict with your estate plan. My goal is to help you prepare for your future so that you can go about your life confident that nothing within your power has been left to chance.
The last thing any of us wants is to be a burden to our loved ones when we are living or to leave them with unnecessary work and worry when we are gone. I will work with you to make sure your loved ones have clear instructions from you as to your wishes if you are incapacitated and the disposition of your assets after you are gone. My goal is to assist families in their time of grief and to make sure that your wishes are carried out without confusion or conflict.
Making sure heirs can inherit any home, business, savings or investments that you might have is probably an important goal for you. It is my goal to make sure you can do it with a minimum of effort, confusion and expense. When heirs are in debt, divorced, in business or have special needs, steps must be taken to ensure that your estate does not end up in the wrong hands.
If you need long term nursing care, financial and estate planning becomes even more essential. You will need to have documents in place that give someone the authority to advocate for you with a nursing facility, make health care decisions for you and pay your bills.
